The 111 men and women of Westchester County, NY, who perished on 9/11 are recalled and honored. Composed at ground level of a circle of granite stones, called the Circle of Remembrance, in each stone is etched the name of a victim and brief survivor tribute. The memorial is topped by an 80 foot spire of steel rods stretching upwards. Situated on the Kensico Dam Plaza -- far right when facing the dam. The design team: Frederic Schwartz, architect; Ove Arup & Partners, engineering; Tallix Foundry, Inc.; and, George A. Fuller Company, construction manager.
