COMMENT: From the dedication program:

Annie Thut Buckler:
The Lovett Memorial Library was one of Mrs. Buckler's dreams that came true. In 1932 she was elected the first president of the board and served until her death in 1957.

Virginia Louise Walker Franklin:
Mrs. Franklin served as member of the Lovett Memorial Library Board from 1964 until 1984, holding all the board offices at various times. She served as the Board Representative during the formation of the Harrington Library Consortium.

Virginia Faulkner Green:
Mrs. Green served on the Library Advisory Board from 1964 until her death in 2003.

Betty Yoe Henderson:
Mrs. Henderson service has helped to improve libraries in Pampa as well as throughout Texas. She served on the Advisory Council of the Texas Panhandle Library System and has been a member of library board for more than 20 years. In 2002 she was named a Library Champion by the Texas Library Association.
