SITE DEVELOPMENT (1): The site was a gift, in 1921, from John Smith, Jr., former president of the Society, 1917-1918; also, Captain Smith was a Civil War veteran.
SITE DEVELOPMENT (2): Design -- Antonio S. Renza, contractor whose firm built the foundation; Grenci & Ellis Granite Company provided stone from its Mohegan quarry.
SITE MAINTENANCE and SPONSOR: Community Group/Not For Profit -- The Lincoln Society in Peekskill, organized 1903.
