Description
This copper beech tree memorial remembers four residents from the Peekskill, New York, community who lost their lives in terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, September 11, 2001. The memorial and its dedicatory stonework, situated in Riverfront Green Park, Peekskill, rest along side the Hudson River as it touches the town, on its way, soon, to pass alongside Ground Zero. Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Peekskill, the work in the river-side park was dedicated July 4, 2002.
