Description
Dedicatory plaque, on the north wall of the south barracks at Fort Ticonderoga,
originally Fort Carillon. Placed in grateful recognition by the province of
Quebec, it recalls French engineer Michel Marquis de Chartier de Lotbinière.
He guided Carillon’s construction to completion, from 1755-1757. Text in French.
