Names of the residents are listed on bronze tablets. • The monument’s design and composition – rectangular and box-like, of stone, with four bronze plaques -- was created by R. Menconi (sculptor), Laurence F. Peck (architect) and the Gorham Company (founder). • The memorial is situated near the town center, along Main Street’s grassy byway at its Branchville Road cross. • It was dedicated July 4, 1925.
